Argo

Ben Affleck stunt us whit a very diverse movie, were you can have action, comedy and politics in a very natural coexistence.
The film begins whit an amazing sequence were we get a glimpse of Irã history showed in cartoons that turn in real photos, that goes so well with the film because its a movie based in a real life event and this is pretty much a cartoon of what happened in history, and Affleck makes it so more clear that and he puts the characters of the film beside with photos of the people who lived that history.
Other big achievement of the director its his ability of making working for the film to be funny and serious when it has to be. You can laugh when Ben Affleck goes to Hollywood to meet Goodman and make the fake movie look real, bud when the attention moves to Irã the movie becomes tense and you don't feel that Affleck don't know what he wants for the film, you think just the opposite, and realize how good director he became.
The biggest flaw of the movie its that goes with the normal positioning of Hollywood movies and puts the United States people in the good guys role and the ugly Irã people in the bad guys role. They were making a revolution for christh sake  they ware not happy with live and they ware triyng to change it. Its sad that it went out of proportions when innocent people were hurt, but the entire role of the USA in the recent history of that country was not worthy of a good guy role.
